July 5, 2013- Rock Tropolish Band and Small Firework Display

The Rock Tropolish Band played hard rock music. The music was very good and most of the people seemed to enjoy their music. They played before and then after the fireworks display. During the fireworks, we listened to the music that was put together for the display. The fireworks were set off to different music and songs throughout the displays.

July 6 2013-Main Firework Show and the Matt Ryan Band

The band on Saturday night was the Matt Ryan Band. They played a variety of country music. All their songs told a story about MI and their lives. At one point, they brought up a young fan on stage and tried to get him to sing. He was too shy and wouldn’t sing but it sure made his night.

The Fireworks were spectacular and lasted for about 45 minutes. We got some beautiful photos and videos of them.
The fireworks got shortened because of rain. Some were disappointed that they weren’t more spectacular than the year before. They did have some new fireworks, or so it seemed to me, I thought the apple design was new but I was expecting a better ending with the American Flag design I had been hearing about.
